relay for lifeHere’s a pic of some of our Relay for Life Team folks. I think that this was around 3 a.m. last Friday/Saturday, which is why I wasn’t in the picture. Anyway, Hayley and Betsy did a great job of organizing the group, tie dying tee shirts, coming up with an onsite fundraiser, and raising money beforehand. As a team, we raised over $1000 (and it’s not too late for you to make a donation).  The last time that I looked, the UGA Relay for Life raised close to $239,000 (and counting).

Thanks to everyone who donated, participated, etc. We’re all looking forward to next year’s UGA Relay for Life!

betsy, et alWe had a great time at the exhibit on Tuesday night. I always enjoy seeing students, board members, local Presbyterians, ministers, and alums getting to know each other. It’s the only thing that we do that gets all of those people together in the same room. The soup dinner beforehand was a great success too. We raised nearly $100 for the UGA Relay for Life. Thanks for Becky, Meaghan, Brent, Mitch, and Hayley for making soup. This is as pic of Betsy, Adam, Beth, and Tyler enjoying some coffee and dessert during the exhibit.

Spinningdale, Scotland

On Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00p, Sally Ross will be in the building for an exhibit of her photography. The exhibit is called, “Scotland: A Study in Light.” We’re really looking forward to having people from the community come into our building and learn a little bit about our ministry. We’re also having a soup supper at 6:30 to raise money for the UGA Relay for Life. We hope that you can join us!
