Faith Flicks, Thurs. at 7pFaith Flicks begins again on the first day of class, Thursday, Jan. 7. Below is a list of our Spring Semester 2010 films and links to information about the films. Some films are easy to watch and some are not. Some may be offensive and others may be inspiring. We try to show a variety of films and we don’t censor anything. After we finish a film, we usually have a brief, informal discussion about it.

All films are shown on Thursday evenings in the TV Room at the PSC and begin promptly at 7:00p. You are welcome to bring dinner, snacks, etc. All films are available for checkout after they are viewed. For more information, contact Mitch Roper (mitch[at]pscuga[dot]org).

christmastree09Welcome to Advent! Though it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and many students were still out of town, we felt that it was important to bring in the first Sunday in Advent at the PSC. After worship, we decorated the PSC for Advent/Christmas. Pictured are some of the students who decorated the tree. Next Sunday, Dec. 6, we’ll join the Episcopalians, Lutherans, and Disciples for our annual lessons and carols service (dinner at the PSC at 6:15p and worship at the Episcopal Center at 7:30p). Happy Advent, Yall!

Unite was great. We filled up the Grand Ballroom at Tate 2 with about 1500 students from various Christian campus ministries and we prayed together for unity and for the campus. We confessed, we sang, we thanked God, we prayed for each other…it was a joyful evening. Here’s the video that we showed at the beginning with pics from different campus ministries. Can’t wait for the next one!
